Separation & Divorce Coaching
"Life is not about waiting for the storm to pass, but about learning how to dance in the rain."
- Vivian Greene
Navigating divorce does not have to sever family bonds, especially when children are involved. The key is to set goals, make a plan, communicate effectively and, if applicable, continue to show up as a parent to your children. This is where I come in.
In my role as a divorce coach, I aim to establish a safe space where parents can express concerns and collaboratively develop a comprehensive plan for moving forward. This plan is geared towards the holistic well-being of all family members, including children.
Communication Support
Enhanced communication and problem solving skills between partners/parents
Parenting Plan
Development of a thoughtful and durable parenting plan post-separation; covering when children will spend time with each parent (weekdays, weekends, holidays), outlining decision making provisions on behalf of children and developing effective communication norms and expectations between parents
Breaking the News
Shared construction and delivery of an age appropriate and empathic narrative to discuss the changing family situation with their family members and/or child(ren). This includes talking points to incorporate into a conversation.
